Loved the crab meat omelette and although the wait was a bit longer than expected it was pleasant talking with a few regulars while we sat.
Best cinnamon rolls anywhere. The bacon wraps and pigs in a blanket were quite delicious as well. The breakfast casserole muffins were not as good as I was expecting, there was a spice in them that didn't seem to fit. To me it tasted like cinnamon or nutmeg. Overall we would go back without a doubt.
The pastries, the omelettes, and the folks who work there make it worth visiting. It's a family run business that really makes you feel at home. Spotlessly clean. Order at the counter and your order is delivered to your table. Often long lines to order but very short wait for food. Harried wait staff never seem too busy for courtesy and pleasantries.
A great little small town bakery on Dauphin Island. The staff was incredibly nice and offered what turned out to be great recommendations. The food is simple, but really hits the spot. I was especially happy with the cinnamon roll covered in pecans that I had for dessert! And check out the gift shop and decor, if you feel like hanging around and not rushing out! They have their own cute little mugs for sale!
Great little hidden gem, must try the Sunday morning breakfast and never had a bad experience here. Good family spot to visit
