Seems like it is more a bar than anything else. The food was good and the accompanying sauces were tasty. Staff is friendly
Great choice. As this was the only place open on December 23rd, I braced myself for the worst. The menu appeared over-priced and uninspired. However, our table of eight was impressed with the quality of our food. Ahi tuna, crab claws , hamburgers, and fettuccini Alfredo was all delicious. Mixed drinks were not very strong, but the wine servings were ample. Service was friendly and professional. A little gem on the island!

Excellent food and service, you'll never go away hungry. We stayed on the island for 1 weeks and ate at the Islanders 3 times for dinner.
This restaurant has a nice feel to it, and very polite serving staff. However, the calamari was quite bland-- their slaw is very bland as well, and a little sweet, so it actually ended up tasting like yogurt, which was odd. The shrimp I ordered were seasoned *very* heavily. Overall, I Honestly cannot recommend the food they serve here. No issue with the service, though.
Food was awesome. When is came time to pay the check my card got charged 4 dollars more than what my receipt said. I brought it up to the bar tender because I couldn't find my waitress. She said that they precharge for a 20% tip then correct it later. My friends who were with me did not get charged and extra 20%. Seems fishy. Also there was someone playing a loud game on her phone the entire time we were eating. Annoying.
